Visit North Yorkshire Farms

Visit North Yorkshire Farms

North Yorkshire is a county in Northeast England, and it has some of the most picturesque scenery you’ll find anywhere. The farms here are plentiful, which means there’s plenty of opportunities to enjoy fresh air, beautiful landscapes, and delicious food, at least. This list includes five farms that will make you want to visit the county more often.

Piglets Adventure Farm

This North Yorkshire farm is home to hundreds (or perhaps thousands) of piglets, all set in a beautiful landscape with mountains and hills. You will have hours of fun exploring the land, watching pigs play, or feeding them during hand-feeding sessions.

Big Sheep and Little Cow Farm

North Yorkshire farms don’t get much better than this one. Here you can meet Northumberland sheep and Highland cows and observe the traditional life of a North Yorkshire farm. But, of course, the animals are kept in beautiful surroundings too – there’s even an old-fashioned farmyard to explore.

Newham Grange Country Farm

Enjoy a fun-filled day out at Newham Grange with your family. There are many activities to keep them entertained, including tractor rides and feeding animals, such as goats, pigs, poultry, donkeys, rabbits, and cattle.

Monk Park Farm Visitor Centre

Located in Thirsk North Yorkshire, Monk Park Farm features tons of animals to see, including alpacas, rheas, deer, and wallabies, to mention a few.

Nidderdale Llamas

This farm is home to llamas and alpacas, with a cute village museum at the end of your visit where you can learn all about these unusual North Yorkshire animals.
